What is FoF?

FoF Stands For Force on Force

(EDC) Everyday Carry represents the mindset and lifestyle of a person who chooses to carry personal defense weapons and useful utility gear as part a normal daily routine.  EDC is not paranoia, it's preparedness.  It's the intentional act of carrying specific tactical and medical gear on an everyday basis that could be used to protect innocent lives, respond to unexpected emergencies and defend against violent criminals.

The EDC lifestyle is a proactive, rather than reactive, approach to staying safe, defending yourself and protecting those you love.  Sign up for our next EDC Handgun course to work with our professional firearms coaches who will guide you through the most effective ways to carry your handgun on a daily basis, to rapidly draw and deploy your handgun in response to extreme violence, and to develop a training routine for you to continue training and practicing on your own.

If you choose a rental this will include the use of one of our Airsoft Pistols and Training Ammo.   If you have your own Airsoft or Simunition pistol, please bring it with you to the course.

2 — HOLSTERS
If you have your own Airsoft or Simunition pistol please bring a holster that fits your training pistol.  Our Airsoft Training Guns will fit Glock 19 and Glock 17 holsters.  Please bring any Glock 19/17 holsters you have to the course.

4 — SAFETY GEAR
Face Mask—You will need a face mask that protects your eyes, neck, throat and ears.  Airsoft training masks are inexpensive and can be found on AmazonWe will NOT be providing these for the group, make sure you bring your own.  This is mandatory.

Gloves—It is a good idea to bring gloves to protect the fingers and knuckles during certain simulations and drills.  Tactical gloves are inexpensive and can be found on Amazon. We will NOT be providing these for the group, make sure to bring your own gloves.  Gloves are optional but highly recommended.

Groin Protection— It is a good idea to wear groin protection.  A stray round hitting the groin area will be very painful.  You can get an inexpensive athletic cup from AmazonWe will NOT be providing these for the group, make sure you bring your own.  Groin protection is optional but highly recommended.

5 — CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES
You need to wear pants or shorts that allow the use of a holster.  Dress as you would normally.  Don't dress different or more tactical or with 3 layers of clothing to avoid the sting of training rounds.  The point of Force on Force training is for you have a legitimate fear of being shot with the training rounds, so you behave as you would in a real world situation.  If you are armored up you won't feel the rounds and it defeats the purpose of the course.  However, we must protect the face, neck, eyes and groin to prevent serious injuries.

We recommend closed toe shoes, a hat and sunscreen.  Bring a notepad and pen for note taking.  Bring a hand towel or s
hemagh.  Bring plenty of water and a few easy to access snacks.
